His family have suggested that Simon would have preferred a donation to a charity instead of flowers. His favorite charity is Leukaemia Busters, a UK-based registered charity whose objective it is to develop new antibody-based magic bullet type treatments for children and adults with currently incurable forms of leukaemia.

This is achieved firstly through a high quality research and development programme to produce and evaluate new antibody-based drugs and secondly through clinical trials in patients to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of such newly emerging drugs.

We would like to raise as much as possible for this charity in his honour.
