Tough Mudder · 17 November 2012 to 18 November 2012 ·

Mustard Tree combats poverty and prevents homelessness across Greater Manchester. We provide a foundation of food, clothing, furniture, support work and community, alongside courses, classes and accredited training. All in the same space. We now do this for over 10,000 people a month.

Story

Marathons are for wimps!

This November in a quiet, respectable part of Cheshire I will be "bravely" attempting to "run" through 12 miles of mud, over fire, through ice water, over 12 foot high walls ... and through wires with 10,000 volts of electricity in them for charity with my friends John Corn, Julian Mahony and Teresa Morrision.

Hardcore obstacle course designed by the Special Forces

Tough Mudder events test all round strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. They also have a sense of humour - we will have to run through a "Black Forest" where signs may not show us the quickest way onto the next obstacle!

Full details of our impending doom can be laughed at here:

Donations, donations, donations ...

Please help support the charities we've chosen. We are aiming to raise £1,000 and our fundraising is joined together in a TEAM page at www.justgiving.com/teams/threemenandalittlelazy with three different charities to choose from. My charity is Mustard tree, a Manchester-based charity.

Please give generously - I promise photos afterwards!
