I'm going to help St John Ambulance University of Essex LINKS raise money for next academic year.
The money will go to us through the Students' Union
«In 2014, while the
University celebrates its 50th anniversary, the St John Ambulance LINKS
Society celebrates 10 years of providing first aid training and event
cover on campus.
To celebrate we are planning to run many events and
projects throughout the year, one of these is the 50th Anniversary First
aid legacy project.
The 50th Anniversary First aid legacy project will
aim to provide essential lifesaving first aid skills and valuable
nationally recognized qualifications to 500 individuals from the
Universities extended community.
We aim to provide these people with the
nationally recognized qualification – ‘Essential and basic first aid’.
This course covers emergency life support techniques as well as how to
deal with minor and deteriorating conditions in any casualty.
The scope
of this project reflects the goals of the 50th Anniversary of the
University. It is the aim of the project to enable the training of 500
individuals from across the spectrum of the diverse University
community.»
