<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page in support of Amelia. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">Amelia is a young girl fighting an </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN;">inoperable brain tumour.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>A friend of mine Zoe (family friend of Amelia)</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">told me of Amelia’s story and with so many of my friends having young children I couldn’t imagine how hard this time is for then:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">Please read the story below in the words of Amelia’s father Richard.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">“</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN;">Amelia Saunders, our beautiful daughter, was diagnosed at the beginning of February with an incurable, inoperable brain tumour. Amelia is 3 years old and lives with her mum, dad and sister Charlotte in Reading, Berkshire.”</span></p>
<p style="margin: 3.75pt 0cm 15pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN;">Since her diagnosis she has touched the hearts of many people, many of whom donated to a fund setup by Richard’s (Amelia’s dad’s) work colleagues to raise money for all the family to have an amazing holiday – you can follow the link to see photos of the holiday on this website.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 3.75pt 0cm 15pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN;">During the time we have had to come to terms with the fact that our time with our little girl is short – we have looked at alternative options to how she might be treated. There is currently no cure for this awful disease and treatment in the UK is short term, always leading to death.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 3.75pt 0cm 15pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN;">Our family is strong, and in being strong we have decided to look at an alternative treatment – that provided by the Burzynski clinic in Houston, Texas. Other children have already been here and received treatment – some of whom are alive and well today. The treatment is expensive, with no guarantees, but represents a potential ray of light in our lives right now.”</span></p>
