Story
On the 26th July 2010 I heard the words 'you've got breast cancer' and thought 'oh my god I'm going to die'. I didn't know it at the time but I would be one of the lucky ones. There were moments during the chemotherapy treatment I couldn't even walk to the corner shop and back I was so ill, and gripped by fear and uncertainty. And now here I am, two years in remission, and about to run 26.2 miles! On the 21st April I am running the London Marathon for the charity 'Breast Cancer Care'. When I was diagnosed I was immediately surrounded by a support system I never even knew existed. These people helped me through the darkest days of my life, and into a new one. The money raised will help support a charity that will ensure the same people who were there for me, will be there for someone else, when they hear those words. So please give what you can. Thank you so much.
