I will be travelling to Kenya for two weeks in June to volunteer at a school, feeding centre or street children’s centre I will be doing this by giving informal teaching on health topics in the form of group discussion and games, and also through lots of playing! I will also be contributing to the everyday running of the projects, helping with cooking, cleaning, gardening and serving the children. I will also have opportunities to help educate the children with the painting of murals on the classroom walls and brightening up the schools.
