Could there be a better way to celebrate Sister Snog’s 10th Anniversary year, International Women’s Day and the 10th Anniversary of Funny Women by taking the Funny Women Charity Challenge, stepping up to the mic to perform a rib-tickling-stand-up-comedy routine. Together with nine other high profile women. Funny Gals from the world of business, commerce, media & academia.
Put the date in your diary. Thursday 8th March 2012. Get your gladrags and party gear ready. Step out in style. Dress for Success. And head for the super swish Grange Hotel at Tower Bridge. Your host for the evening is Kate Garraway. Doors open at 7pm. Carriages at the stroke of midnight.
The Sister Snog comedy duo are being mentored by Ladies Live Longer. Finalists of the 2011 Funny Women Awards. No kidding!
And will be raising funds for Dress for Success. A perfect match. Sister Snog is a business club that connects smart, sassy business women. Dress for Success (DFS) builds women’s self esteem so they can get back into work by providing them with a working wardrobe.
However, clothes are just the starting point to a female approach to turning low esteem into self esteem. Each client gets very personal attention with expert styling and hands-on interview training in a calm and tranquil all-female environment.
Dress for Success has two extraordinary patrons. A formidable duo. Fashion icon in her own right. Betty Jackson. And comedy heroine Jennifer Saunders. Who are both giving their support to the charity.
Join them by supporting Dress for Success. Dig deep and donate and make Sister Snog’s fundraising goal of £5,000 a mere tip of the iceberg (lettuce).
