Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It is with great sadness that I have to inform everyone that I have had to pull out of the SixGirls No Buoys channel swim. After a series of incidences of hypothermia whilst training at Dover, the last of which was pretty severe,I have been left with no choice.

No-one could be sadder about this than me. I have trained hard and was desperate to do the swim but there is nothing I can do if my body keeps shutting down on me after getting too cold. A friend of Ella, Madeleine has taken my place and I wish them all the best of luck for the 27th August.

Please don't donate unless you would like to help MND and if you have already, Just Giving will be organising a refund. I am so sorry I could not complete the challenge this time but will be eating a lot in the hope I can one day do the swim.

Thank you to all my supporters.
