DONE IT!  12,300ft Tandem Skydive of which the best part was the 7,000ft free fall.

It was great fun and unforgettable experience.

Thank you so much again for sponsoring me.

Will

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Joshua Orphan Care Trust is a small but very succesful charity that has been established to make a real difference to the quality of the lives of people living in rural Malawi.  The charity works with the village residents to build much needed facilities like schools and sanitation blocks but they always make sure they agree these projects with the local villagers.  You can find out more about the charity from its website www.joshuainmalawi.org.uk.

I have been given a fantastic opportunity through my school, Hurstpierpoint College, and Inspire Worldwide to join one of these projects in July 2010.  During my three week trip to Malawi, I will be working with about 15 other students to build a school.  It promises to be hard work but really rewarding and I know I will learn so much from the people I meet.

To qualify for the trip I must raise at least £300 but I would like to raise a lot more for Joshua and I am hoping that you will support me as I prepare to throw myself out of a plane at 10,000ft on my tandem skydive in April.  I know this is a bit extreme but I feel the charity is extremely worthwhile and I would be extremely grateful for any contribution you can make to their work.  By the way, I will not be using your gifts towards paying for the trip - it will all go to the charity and so Gift Aid can be reclaimed.

Finally, thank you very much for considering this request and, if you can, for supporting me.

All the best

Will
