My wife Magda an me have successfully completed the Lancaster Loop 50 mile cycle challenge for MedEquip4Kids. It was rainy and windy and we have discovered that waterproof clothing is not really waterproof. I have had some technical problems with my bike that was fixed by the charity mechanics and I was able to continue the event.

Magda and me wish to thank the organisers for a job well done, the excellent signposting; we didn't get lost once in spite of the atrocious weather and low visibility. A big thank you for the ladies who manned the pit stops, and provided us with delicious cakes and the much needed hot drings.
