<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: "Calibri","sans-serif"; color: #000000;">Covering around 1000 miles in 2 weeks, our team of 4 will be cycling from Lands End to John O’Groats wearing SmartLife SmartVests<a name="OLE_LINK2"></a><a name="OLE_LINK1">™</a> to monitor their vital health signs. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: #000000;">The aim of this challenge is to record useful data throughout the event that can be used to improve the knowledge we have of monitoring vital health signs during exercise and can be analysed to impact a variety of areas from healthcare to sports science.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">One area that we hope it will help is research and monitoring of Cystic Fibrosis.</span></p>
<p>Jen's nephew Finley (5) has CF and although there are regular stays in hospital, strict dietary routines and often additional side effects as a result of the disease, you wouldn't know it to look at him. He's a happy and energetic, normal five year old who loves school and wants to be a fireman when he grows up :)</p>
