The race is on! Will we all make it to the finish? who will be first? (Ellie obviously) who will be best dressed? (Abi most likely) who will do it in disguise? (Jess) Who will buy the champagne at the end? (Isi) Who will ensure we take appropriate time to regroup and reflect on the whole experience? (Caroline).
Why are we doing all this? We are running to raise funds for People & Planet because we believe in their work with young people, which inspires them to make a real difference to the future of the planet.
If that isn't reason enough.......We are all half marathon virgins (except Ellie - who is going for gold) who need significant reason to get up that early and run around the parks several times in big loops.
