We are a registered charity, working with children and young people with wide ranging disabilities. We work to develop confidence, independence, and social skills but mostly, to give our children the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, have fun and make friends.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Smith & Nephew SNAPPY JustGiving page.

We (Matt, Jacquie & Dan) are raising money for SNAPPY (Special Needs Activity and Play Provision for York), a charity that provides social and recreational opportunities for children and young people with special needs aged 5-25 in the York area. It is the Smith & Nephew Research Centre's chosen charity for 2012 and we're helping to raise enough money to buy a foldable hoist that is vital for the daily running of the centre.

On 26th May we took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. We climbed Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, a total of 1,672 metres of climbing in 25 miles, in just over 11 hours! We suffered a few aches, blisters and even sunburn! We would love you to sponsor us for having completed the challenge.

Thank you for your interest.
