Snappy's Gaming Marathon

Snappy's Gaming Marathon · 10 October 2015
Hi there, thanks for visiting my page :D
I'm raising funds for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation through a 24 hour gaming marathon! This event is called the Sick Kids Save Point, and it's in its 6th year of running. Since starting it has raised £71,000, and we're aiming to hit the £100,000 mark this year!
I'm doing my marathon on Saturday 10th October, and will be aiming to Livestream at least some of my gameplay (links will be in the updates)! Even if I don't manage to, I'll be posting regular updates to Twitter and Facebook you can all see that I'm still going! If there are any particular games you want me to try, let me know, otherwise I'll be working through my own game collection.
Thing is, it can't be done without you. Yes, you, the (assumed) person reading this. There's a whole team of people around the country raising funds for this charity, but it'll only work if people like you donate. Doesn't need to be a lot, every little piece will help.
Our target this year is to reach £100,000, so we can keep Kidsnet running, a secure internet service for the kid's in hospital. I have a direct quote below describing the service, and why we need these funds.
"Kidsnet in the hospital is a vital service that not only helps to combat boredom for children on the wards through games and films but crucially, helps reduce the isolation they may feel by allowing them to keep connected with family and friends. This service costs the Sick Kids friends Foundation around £25,000 a year so with your help we can continue to provide it."Thanks so much for reading so far, below is a wee thing about donating through JustGiving. Don't forget to donate ;)
