People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments. Research is the only way to turn this hope into reality. Combining patient stories and scientific expertise, we fund projects that have a real impact, reducing side-effects, cutting treatment costs and ultimately improving outcomes.

Story

Every year in May up to 500 people from all over the UK converge on the small town of Llanberis in North Wales to take part in the Snowdon 500 Challenge. They climb Snowdon which at 1085m is the highest mountain in England & Wales and raise vital funds for the Prostate Cancer Research Centre.

Over the past 5 years the Snowdon 500 Challenge has raised £750,000 for prostate cancer research and made a huge contribution to the work of the Research Centre in it's quest to discover new treatments and ultimately a cure for this terrible disease.

Every year in the UK alone more than 35000 men find out that they have prostate cance and each year more than 10000 men die from this killer disease. By taking part in the Snowdon 500 Challenge you will make an important contribution to this very worthwhile cause but even if you are ubable to participate - for what ever reason you can still support prostate cance research by making an on line donation through "Just Giving".

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please help us combat prostate cancer by making a donation now - Thank you.
