The Italian Job is a fun event based in Italy utilising vehicles from the original 1960's 'The Italian Job' film that starred Michael Caine, Noel Coward, Benny Hill, Roy Barraclough and many other famous names. In the original film they stole gold bullion in Turin and escaped in minis - well we can’t steal Gold but we would like your cash as the event raises money for NCH here in the UK and to date just approx £1.95 M has been raised by the 'Jobbers' who participate in the event. This year we aim to take the grand total raised to well over £2 m.
From the end of October we will spend 6 days in on various driving activities and then 2 days in on the way back to Blighty ready for the grand finish onBrighton sea front on Saturday 3rd November. That is over 3000 miles of driving and taking part in many events on route. There will be approx 100 teams taking part, mostly in original Classic minis or new MINIS - it is a site to see,
We all have the same aims - having fun in the cars that we love whilst raising money for a most worthwhile charity NCH
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: NCH, the children's charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Why not come down toBrightonon Saturday 3rd November to welcome us back to Blighty
Many thanks for your support.
