The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Everyday children and adults across the UK struggle with either getting a ASD diagnosis or getting the right support once diagnosed.
We are participating in the night walk to show our support by meeting new people and to support each other the best that we can!
Each individual just wants to be accepted, understood, given time, included and supported so they can do the best they can.

This is my second year doing the walk and I loved every minute in 2019.

This year I have the privilege to do it with two special people: Katharine, who is Megan's mum, and Megan, who I support at school. Megan is 14 and was diagnosed with ASD when she was 5. Megan says 'I am looking forward to doing the walk as I love London and it makes me happy to think I am helping other people with the same condition. I am very fortunate that I have all the support that I have but not everyone is as lucky as me. Thank you very much for sponsoring us.' Katharine says she hopes it doesn't rain! Go team Walkie Talkies!
