Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My son, Austin and I have decided to take part in the 'Tour de Tendring' bicycle ride this year, consisting of a 50 mile round trip, cycling through some scenic routes in Tendring, starting from Dovercourt, Harwich on Sunday 22nd May 2011.
We are doing this in memory of my beloved father who had a tragic and fatal accident 10 years ago this June, whilst cycling through Colchester (greatly missed). Cycling was a big part of his life and each year he very much enjoyed taking part in this event. Upon this accident he was rushed to Queen's Hospital Head Injuries Unit (the then 'Oldchurch'), Romford, where he was treated to the best possible care, but unfortunately he did not make it through this trauma after 10 days on life support.
We were very happy with the way in which my father was cared for and would very much appreciate your support with helping us to raise funds for Queen's Hospital, via this event we are due to take part in.
We will be most grateful for anything you can give to support our cause.
