<p>In 2009 Sonnie, then just nine years old, heard about a charity that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair during treatment for cancer.&nbsp;So he began to grow his hair long, with the aim of donating it to this wonderful cause.</p> <p>Then, the following year, Sonnie's dad Ezri was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and began a journey through treatment that made <em>his </em>hair fall out (although he wore a beany hat, not a wig!).</p> <p>Sonnie's hair is now spectacularly long, and ready to be cut and donated. <strong>Please sponsor Sonnie's haircut </strong>so that we can support those who have supported us, and so many others, through the challenges of cancer treatment and recovery.</p> <p>The Big Cut will take place on Friday 15 July 2011 at Sonnie's school, Wolfson Hillel Primary in north London, so please give generously to help these two great causes - <a title="Zichron Menachem UK" href="http://www.zichronuk.org" target="_blank">UK Friends of Zichron Menachem</a> and <a title="Lymphoma Association" href="http://www.lymphomas.org.uk" target="_blank">Lymphoma Association</a>.</p> <p><strong>Thank you! :o)</strong></p>
