Story

In 2009 Sonnie, then just nine years old, heard about a charity that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair during treatment for cancer. So he began to grow his hair long, with the aim of donating it to this wonderful cause.

Then, the following year, Sonnie's dad Ezri was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and began a journey through treatment that made his hair fall out (although he wore a beany hat, not a wig!).

Sonnie's hair is now spectacularly long, and ready to be cut and donated. Please sponsor Sonnie's haircut so that we can support those who have supported us, and so many others, through the challenges of cancer treatment and recovery.

The Big Cut will take place on Friday 15 July 2011 at Sonnie's school, Wolfson Hillel Primary in north London, so please give generously to help these two great causes - UK Friends of Zichron Menachem and Lymphoma Association.

Thank you! :o)
