I've been given an amazing opportunity to join Team Sage and take part in this year's Great North Run.  It's something I've always wanted to do, and add to that thewonderful charity we're raising money for, I just couldn't let the opportunity slip by. Those of you who know me know that a little over 2 years ago, I lost my Uncle Chris following a short battle against cancer.

Cancer is a terrible disease and it's one that can affect anyone from any walk of life. The money I raise through taking part in this event will go to Cancer Research UK and will help them to find treatments and cures for this awful disease.
