Hi! This year will be my first summer trip to Burma for an amazing project : helping train a group of refugees in vital medical skills. In case you are wondering what? Skills like sewing up wounds, setting bones and  how to diagnose and treat in urgent situations (not many test results available here!) All this is happening in a refugee camp on the Thaï/Burma border with very limited health resources available. Once trained, these people will make a valuable difference to their community.

It costs £10 to buy 1 medical  book and 2 suturing packs.
£80 To train someone for a month (training lasts for 5 months)
