My story
Our beautiful daughter Sophia passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at just eleven weeks old.
Words cannot express how we feel, and probably never will.
In an attempt to help prevent other parents go through the same heartbreak that we have, we wish to raise money in lieu of flowers at the funeral for The Foundation of the Study of Infant Deaths (FSID), who help fund research in this field.
For those parents, families and friends who are affected by the sudden loss of a child, they also run helpline and support groups to help them realise that they are not alone.
Finally, they work with professionals to improve the care and support provided to bereaved families at such a tragic time.
