Story
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">It will be two years this May since I lost my mother in law to Renal cancer, and 3 years last February that I lost a friend to Pancreatic cancer. Hilary was 62 years of age, and Shelley, just 33. It is difficult to find the words to describe how their deaths affected some of the loved ones they left behind. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;">I have always wanted to take part in some form of fundraising activity in memory of them, s<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">o, on</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> the 16</span><span style="font-size: 6.67pt; vertical-align: super; font-family: Arial;">th</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> June, I will be taking on th</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">e</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">Yorkshire Three Peaks</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;"> Challeng</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">e</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">along with a number of my colleagues from Michael Page, </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;">supporting our charity partner</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">Macmillan Cancer Support. </span></p>

<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">Now, for those of you that don't know me, I am currently on maternity leave, having given birth to the 'bonny' Beatrix six months ago. I also have a 'boisterous' near three year old, Clementine. Essentially, thanks to a couple of pregnancies in close succession, I have been busy gaining weight, losing weight, getting fit, gaining weight, losing weight and so on. Since Christmas I have lost a whopping two and a half stone, and have been receiving regular physio for a persistent groin problem post natal.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">You may wonder why I am taking on such a challenge. Well, thanks to the support of a fantastic physiotherapist (who, incidentally, has completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks herself) and my appetite for a physical task, </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">this is a challenge that I cannot sidestep. As a result, I am back on the streets of Clevedon sporting my lycra running gear. Run 7 completed yesterday and, for the first time yet, I didn't feel like I was about to keel over!!</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">So what's a few hills between friends? Both Hilary and Shelley would have moved a mountain for me. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0pt;"><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">I am aiming to raise £500, although I</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;"> must raise a minimum of £300.</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">At least 80% of this money will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, the balance being spent on the costs of the challenge. 100</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">% of any sum raised over £300</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-size: 10pt; color: #00b050; font-family: Arial;">will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support. </span></p>
