Story

Thought I would give an update and inform you all I completed the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 25th May 2014 and completed it in 4 hours and 52 minutes.

It was well worth the challenge and I was inspired throughout by the great people in the McMillan team supporting me until the finish.

I have already signed up for the Edinburgh marathon again next year and need you all to keep supporting McMillan and sponsoring a great cause.

Recently my mum Lynne was diagnosed with ovarian cancer she has just started her first round of chemotherapy and is being positive and fighting to beat cancer. I sadly loss my gran to the same illness and have decided to take this challnege to raise money for a charity which is close to my heart.

I have decided to run the Edinburgh marathon in 2014 to help raise money for a great charity who helps and supports family and friends when going through the emotions and challenges of cancer.

Thankyou for your donations and support.
