At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been running for about a year and have decided to challenge myself to the Great North 10k. I will be running this race barefoot-style, in my Vibram Five Fingers - so no padding, air-bubble or support - and this is easier said than done.

I am raising money for the Alzheimer's Society, and they deserve your support more than I do. Every penny counts!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you.
