In April of 2010 I underwent a career threatening vocal operation. I was unable to talk for a week and couldn’t work for 3 months. I had to re learn to sing again. I had no savings and no way of paying any bills. It was a very dark and stressful time.
The Musicians Benevolent Fund awarded me a grant and their financial help got me through those awful 3 months. I don't know what I would have done without their help.
The work they do for musicians on many different levels is incredible.
I want to give something back to help other musicians who find themselves in a situation like mine..... So I have decided to jump out of an aeroplane to raise some money for them!
