There are nearly thirty thousand British servicemen and women deployed in over 80 countries around the world and every day they risk their lives to ensure the security and safety of the civilians that they aim to defend.

However many receive physically destructive injuries, some life-threatening, that affect them both physically and mentally.

Not only because they can no longer do the job they love, but existing from day to day with these debilitating injuries can be extremely challenging.

Because of this and without support it can make it near impossible to integrate back into society, to find new jobs and to get their lives back on track, with new meaning and purpose.

Thankfully that’s where Walking With The Wounded provides its’ indispensable support and unfailing commitment to our wounded soldiers.

Their financing of new qualifications, education and training programmes for those who are injured, helps immensely with the career transition and makes the work that they do so vital.
