For those of you that don't already know my story I am a 40 year old mother of one who has never previously done any running. Last year one of my customers who has done 3 marathons suggested I enter so I did. Last summer Chris Darkins died suddenly and I asked her husband Bob if I could run in her memory for his chosen charity - which was Macmillan. The rest as they say is history.

Chris was a very much loved member of our community and she is the reason I have raised so much money to date.
