<p>Hello. My name is Sophie Isaacs and I am 15 years old.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Next year, I am going to Kenya with the CRED Foundation. There will be other people of my age going, a few representatives of the charity and several teachers from some of the schools taking part. When we are in Kenya, we will be visiting a couple of schools in the area, where we will get to know the students and teachers. We will be doing lots of sports activities with them, and teaching them some sports that they are not yet familiar with. Also, we will be visiting the largest slum in Nairobi (the second largest in Africa), Kibera. It is going to be extremely emotional and it will be an amazing experience.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I need to raise a total of &pound;1300 to pay for everything, including the travel and accomodation. So far, I have done a plant sale, raising around &pound;130 and have sold plenty of ice-pops to my Year 10 friends! I had lots of regulars and some people who even bought more than one at one time! It was great!</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I completed the long cycle and hike along the South Downs not too long ago! It was extremely tough, because me and three others were walking for 6 hours and I had ridden my bike for another 2! I did have some very annoying blisters on my feet, but fortunately, they have gone down substantially! My family supported me really well by letting me have lots of rest!</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The photos that I have uploaded are of a previous trip to the same place that I am going to in April.
