Story

Hi everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

On June 4th, my sister Anna and I will be competing in Sheactive every woman's Duathlon in Bristol. This will consist of a 5km run, followed by a 20km cycle and rounded off with another cheeky 5km run in the beautiful surroundings of the Bristol downs. Given that both of us have fallen off our bikes in the last week we are just hoping for a safe completion of the race, and an impressive time would just be a bonus!

In addition, on July 10th Sarah Jones and I will be running in the British London 10km. Our training so far has been a hot and sweaty affair given that we mostly run together on our lunch hours at work but on the plus side, we hope to have a nice tan ready for the photos when we cross the finish line!

Both races will be run for the Anthony Nolan charity. This charity finds matches for leukaemia patients who need a lifesaving transplant. For someone with leukaemia, a bone marrow transplant can be their only hope of life. Anthony Nolan uses their register, cord blood bank and research to find people who can give them that hope by donating their stem cells.

I have set up a this page titled the London 10km run, but this page will cover donations for Sarah and I for the 10km and for Anna and I for the Duathlon. You can find the page here:

Please spare what you can, you kind, kind people!

Thanks guys
