Bloodwise Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2016 · 4 June 2016 to 5 June 2016 ·

We are a small charity with a big ambition set up in memory of Oscar Cole who died very suddenly aged just 16 months in June 2014. We are helping to bring the future of Healthcare to children by utilising the latest technologies such as data science, artificial intelligence and digital solutions.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  Last year I completed my first sprint triathlon for Thinking of Oscar and this year we've got Neil joining the team too!

Thinking of Oscar is dedicated to the memory of Oscar Cole who died on June 19th 2014 aged 16 months.

With your support, Thinking of Oscar will help to improve the experiences of young children and their families whilst in hospital care.

So far TOO have funded a set of vein finders into the John Radcliffe Children's Hospital, Oxford. Via the triathlon, TOO will look to complete the funding of a new children's procedures unit for young children who would otherwise have had to be admitted to the main hospital for procedures. The benefit of this will
be that it is less stressful for the child and much more likely that the procedure takes place at the appointed time rather than being bounced by emergencies.

Thanks for your support!
