Great South Run 2017 · 22 October 2017 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Hello!

We have entered the Great South Run  beside our dear friend Tom Harris . Tom has recently suffered very serious head injuries whilst on holiday in Slovenia and is currently recovering from his injury at home in the UK. The race is very important to Tom as he had planned to take part to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, who were extremely supportive to his childhood friend Sam Hooker who sadly passed away last year. We are hopeful that Tom will be well enough to take part in the event, and we will be able to support him as a team together.

Any support or donations towards this great charity would be hugely appreciated and can make a huge difference to the lives of young people who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing expert support. Others who are running have also chosen to donate to Headway - a brain injury association and also to the ward in Slovenia who did such a great job looking after Tom to recover.

Much love and many thanks,

Sophie xx
