Story

After saying never, ever again following my first foray into marathon running last year, I have been lucky enough to gain a place in the Virgin London Marathon on 17th April 2011.

Once again, I would like to raise money for the British Heart Foundation both in memory of my dad, Bill Withnall and for my friend's little boy, Gabriel Hooper. I would really appreciate your support. Anything you can contribute will help, no matter how little.

I now know running the marathon is the easy part - it's the training which is the real challenge, so to keep you all entertained and to prove I am really earning those donations, I am writing a blog to record the experience, which you can follow at http://speedysoph-joggerblogger.blogspot.com/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you very much
