Story
In January 2010, I will be climbingMountKilamanjaro in aid of Macmillan Cancer care with 40 other volunteers.
Kilimanjaro, at 5895 metres, is the highest point on the African Continent and the world’s tallest free standing mountain. The altitude and the low temperature make this a difficult and often dangerous trek….. There is a risk of Altitude sickness and many climbers often fail to reach the summit because of it
The cost of the trip has been covered so all money raised will go directly to the charity!
Macmillan are a great cause to support, providing assistance and support to sufferers and their families.
