Having recently volunteered with the Environmental Investigation Agency I have seen first hand the amazing and worthwhile work they do for wildlife and the environment worldwide.  The staff are truly dedicated and passionate about their campaigns and I'm grateful I was able to be involved with them.

I'm pledging to support Give It Up 4 EIA for January by not consuming wheat, meat, dairy, sugar* or alcohol. 

(*fruit will be allowed but nothing with added sugar)

This means none of my favourite foods: cheese, wine or chocolate!  At this point, I'm not entirely sure what exactly I am going to eat, and attending parties without drinking will be really hard!

As well as raising vital funds for EIA, this will help reduce my carbon footprint by not consuming meat or dairy products, and improve my health by consuming less processed food.

I have tried this many times before and failed miserably as I don't have a lot of willpower when it comes to food, so this will be a major challenge for me, but knowing that it will be helping EIA will spur me on.

I've wanted to become healthier for the past few months, especially having just started specialising in detox and fitness holidays at Health and Fitness Travel.   To add insult to injury, I'll also be joining the gym!?!
