Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My fantastic sister and friends are joining me on the Santa run on the 9th of december to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity. In february this year my beautiful daughter Sophie was diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour. It is hers and our wish that no other child or family should have to go through what we have been through. Only 2 % of funds raised for cancer research go to researching and finding and cure for brain tumours. Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40.
My inspiration and my strength is Sophie- who has braved so much and come so far after dealing with surgery, radiotherapy and now chemotherapy. She gets on with loving life and being a normal 9 year old despite having had a stroke during her surgery.
My support is the family, friends, our colleagues and supportive charities who have done their utmost to make Sophies life fun over the last 8 months.
Give whatever you can. If all our friends, family and FB friends gave a couple of pounds each...well I won't do the math but I'd say it would be a lot without hitting the pocket too much!! We need to raise a minimum of £100 each for the Brain Tumour Charity.
This is only the beginning of our mission! ;)
THANK YOU!!
