Welcome to the Spencer 5 Day Fundraise homepage.
We are a Humberside-based engineering firm with a big heart!
Thats why have teamed up with Breast Cancer Care for the next 12 months to raise as much money as possible for this fantastic cause.
To get this partnership off to a flying start we held a whole week of events, all in work time, to try and earn £10000.
These activities included;
The Bungee Challenge- 170ft drop into the Abyss at Magna in Sheffield
The 100km Super Cycle- 100km ride from the Breast Cancer Care office in Sheffield to our office in Barrow
The Humber Hike- A 10 mile trek from our office in Barrow, Lincolnshire to Hessle, Yorkshire
The Big Boat Race- A raft build and 300 metre race across the North Lincs Sailing Club ponds
The great news is we are flying towards the £10000 mark with donations coming in online and offline all of the time. We will be updating our offline total when we have collected all of the sponsorships in.

If we do manage to reach our target not only will the charity benefit from a huge donation but we will make another money can't buy gesture that will raise breast cancer awareness to millions of people over the next year.
Spencer are currently carrying out dehumidification works on the iconic Humber Bridge. In order to access the bridge's cables we have attached a 13 tonne gantry to the wires that allows our guys to carry out the works. These gantries are seen by more than 100,000 people a week who cross the bridge and although they are usually painted Spencer blue we have recieved special permission, on achievement of our target, to redecorate.
Therefore we will be painting our usually very masculine looking gantry PINK for Breast Cancer Care. This will be visible for hundreds of square miles and to every passer-by on the bridge for the duration of the works (about 12 months).
