On Sunday 22 November I will run in the Annual Mount Vesuvius 10km Race.  The race is a tough test for any runner as it is uphill all the way, there is no respite from the incline.  Last year I ran it with a team that included 2 USAF ladies and we raised over 1,300 euros for RAFA.  This year a team of approx 5 personnel will run it again for the same charity, only this year we will run the race individually and I intend to complete the run in less than 60 minutes.  So far my training consists of 3 to 4 runs per week including a once a week 14km run that includes hills similar to Vesuvius and I am completing that in approx 65 to 70 minutes on average, so things are looking good (fingers-crossed).  Please feel free to sponsor me for this very worthy cause and be part of something special.  Spike
