Chunky six-year-old Chihuahua, Nikki, from Middlesex

Her current weight of nearly 6kg makes her around 46% overweight. Her owner, Sarah Dempsey, tries her best to feed Nikki a balanced diet but does occasionally give her a naughty treat such as the odd crisp or two. As for exercise, Nikki hates walking and will lie down after just a few yards for a rest. She even lies down to have a drink of water!
