Story

Come Write With Me.... 2012

My third 'CoffeeWrite' for Macmillan Cancer Support - but BIGGER.

Formerly in three coffee shops in Ealing Broadway, this time we're in London, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and Brighton.

National Theatre playwright James Graham and author/blogger/campaigner Lucy-Anne Holmes are joining me for a third year, and we're joined by poet Carrie Etter and Shakespearean (though he looks younger) Professor Michael Dobson. My Questors Youth Theatre students in Years 8 and 9 are doing their sponsored writed in class on 11-12 December and we're doing character work towards that now. They're going to do amazing stuff.

Macmillan Cancer Support is about quality of life. It's about being there when you're needed, and about who's there for you. That difference is always a big difference. Whatever you can give, really REALLY helps.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
