My story

At the end of 1987, the first iteration of Final Fantasy, a game hopefully (!) familiar to everyone, was released in Japan. To commemorate 25 years since its creation, we are hoping, as a company, to raise the symbolic sum of £25,000 towards the charity of our choice, GamesAid.

Last year, many incredibly brave SEE employees took part in the huge challenge of the Trailwalker event across the South Downs of England, walking 100 km in teams of four, plus support drivers, in just over 24 hours. An amazing accomplishment.  This year, we would like to set a physical challenge which is more inclusive and considerate to everyone at SEE, exciting different events have been created and planned by our dedicated charity committee, represented by people across SEE.  We have also planned a variety of fund raising social events.  Please see the below details of the events we have planned:

1 . Beer Festival

Date TBC!

2. Square Enix Circuit

The flagship challenge, which will take place on Thursday 23 August in Wimbledon Park. This event will encourage people to take part in a 5km run/walk/you name it circuit. It is up to you to decide how many circuits you want to complete within 2 hours.

With 100+ people doing a minimum of 5km, that equates to at least half a million metres in the name of charity!

This will also be a family event, with stalls and food etc.  So we encourage you to bring along friends, family, children, dogs if you please.

3. Black Tie Event

March 2013. Details to follow
