Set up in memory of Rosie May Storrie, age 10, who was brutally murdered in 2003. The Rosie May Foundation is a little charity with a BIG vision committed to creating a living legacy for children, especially girls, giving them a future that Rosie May was denied. "Make A Difference Together"

Story

The Rosie-May Home in Sri Lanka helps to give girls effected by the 2004 tsunami and poverty a roof over their heads, good food and water, an education in English and ITC and a safe, loving environment to grow up in- alongside many other projects within the Sri Lankan community.

So far on our journey we have run a fantastic human auction (many thanks to Calum Ashurts for the pictures!), a difficult lent challenge (now Becky's always on time!), a yummy cheese and wine evening, and collections at the Frances Bardsley School- many thanks to both staff and pupils!

Please continue to help us to volunteer and support these vulnerable young girls by making a donation and/or sponsoring us to run the Bupa 10000- a 10k run in London on the 27th of May!! And look out for some of our future events this term- hopefully some bag packing (for which we could use some extra hands) and a raffle or some sort!!

Lots of love and thanks,

Rachel and Becky <3

http://www.rosie-may.com/46301/index.html
