Celebrating all things speakeasy, the Masquerade is proud to announce that this year we will be hosting jazz-dub duo The Correspondents as well as a smashing line up of some of the best funk, beat and DJ talent the UK has to offer!</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px; color: #333333; font-family: &#39;Lucida Grande&#39;, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; padding: 0px;">Founded just over two years ago to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, and increase awareness about a condition that affects around 8,500 in the UK and a further 30,000 in the US. After two fantastic sell-out success events, we have managed to donate over &pound;8,000 to our nominated charity.</p> <p style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px; color: #333333; font-family: &#39;Lucida Grande&#39;, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20px; background-color: #ffffff; padding: 0px;">CF severely adversely affects suffers&rsquo; breathing and digestive systems and as such dramatically reduces the life expectancy of those with the condition. Sadly there is currently no cure for the condition, but with help from fundraisers such as the St Andrews Masquerade organisations like the Cystic Fibrosis Trust are increasingly able to develop new treatments through their research which help CF suffers cope with their illness.
