For those that don’t already know, we are a group of cycling enthusiasts dedicated to raising money for Cancer Research UK. From 2012 onwards we will be establishing a number of quality, unique events with this aim in mind. We will also be entering the St Peregrine VC (velo club) team into Cycling Sportives around the UK and beyond and developing our own rides for people to take part in and become part of  our expanding community. The St Peregrine VC team, since its recent inception, has already successfully secured entry into 2012’s London-Paris event. The London-Paris is one of the premier cycling events of the year and attracts amateurs, leading cyclists and sporting greats. Previous riders have included Stephen Roche, Sean Kelly and Geoff Thomas to name a few. In 2011 it was the subject of a 26 minute TV highlights programme broadcast on British Eurosport. Riders experience an unforgettable 'Tour de France' finish into Paris, with rolling road closures past the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower – the only other cycling event granted this honour is the Tour de France! It is the closest the amateur gets to a professional cycling race and allows riders to train and complete the event for charity or for their own personal goals.
