I am taking part in my first ever organised run, starting small and hoping to build up to the marathon!!

 I am raising money for the ACLT - the charity aims to raise awareness and increase black, mixed race and ethnic minority representation on the world bone marrow registers and to promote blood donation. The chances of finding a match are greater if potential bone marrow donors are from the same racial background as the recipient. The ACLT has raised the numbers of black and mixed race people registered in the UK from 550 to 25,000 since 1996 and directly recruited at least 20 donors who have gone on to donate bone marrow/stem cells to sufferers. .
