I'm Running For MacMillan

Run Regent's Park 2017 · 11 June 2017 ·
Hi,
My name is Stacey and in July of 2016, my Nan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and sadly passed away of this illness a few months after in November. She was an active and generous person who always went out of her way to help others. The thought of losing her was devastating and heartbreaking and I couldn't believe it was happening to our family.
MacMillan and other charities provided my Nan and our family with amazing support that helped us get through what was a very difficult time. Because of this, I want to give back in the hope that they can continue to help others the way they helped us. Without charities like MacMillan, my Nan would not have gotten the support and information that she needed and as a family, we wouldn't have coped with all of the overwhelming things that having a loved one be diagnosed with cancer brings about.
Every donation is greatly appreciated and I am excited about running Regents Park for what I feel is such an amazing cause.
