<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Me and my fellow geographers from the University of Gloucestershire are venturing to the Sinai Desert as part of our geography degree. We are staying with the Bedouin people who are supported by the Makhad Trust a local charity. As a thank you to the Bedouin people for looking after us for the trip we aim to raise &pound;2000 for building materils for a small dam, this will help retain water for Bedouin people during water short periods, proving water for their orchards and for drinking and washing.</p> <p>So far we have held a 'Dam Good Cake Sale' which raised &pound;120 and we are planning the 'Dam Good Ball' for the 24th February at the Cheltenham Park Hotel (for more info/tickets just ask Harriet Eavers!).</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
