#SupportStan to cycle from Lands End 2 John O'Groats 9 days 969 miles

The Vodafone Big Bike Challenge – LEJOG · 9 September 2014 to 14 September 2014 ·
A once in a life-time opportunity to do something truly remarkable to help those desperately in need.
I have never EVER done anything like this before, only recently started cycling from many years of playing football. I am looking forward to it and know that it will definitely push me physically as well as mentally. i have this weird feeling that this challenge has enough turbulence and surprises to change my life especially in the area of facing life challenges and seeing it through to the end.
Beside looking forward to 9 days of torture, is knowing that my completion of the Vodafone Big Bike Challenge will help improve many families in Lesotho.
Here is how your support and donations will help many families in Lesotho:
Moyo
Lesotho is about using mobile technology to change lives, by getting a
generation of young people living with HIV onto treatment. By using mobile
technology, more children will receive life-saving treatment far faster. There
are 41,000 HIV positive children in Lesotho but only 5,000 of them currently
receive treatment. I am cycling the length of Britain to get all 36,000 children the life-saving treatment
they need. Very few children will survive beyond their fifth birthday if
they do not receive this treatment and many of these children live in rural
areas.
The funds I raise will also be used to provide safe deliveries for mothers,
preventing maternal death and the transmission of HIV from mothers to babies.
Every pound I raise will be put to work, changing lives and it will reach more
people far faster because of mobile technology.
