Hello

First of all thank you ever so much for taking the time to visit our team page.

Stanton's Striders was formed last year in honour of Debbie Stanton, our friend and colleague, who had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.  She has been an inspiration to all of us.  She remained at work throughout most of her chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments, always smiling and proudly sporting her Manchester United headscarf on dress down days...not only that, but she vowed to all of us that next year she would be doing the Moonwalk with us.  It will come as no surprise to those of you who know her that she is doing exactly that!

The team has been taking part in training walks since December and has bravely faced all elements including hail and bog (!) to ensure that everyone is fit and ready to face this midnight marathon!  Please help us to raise as much money as we can for this truly worthwhile cause.
