We are a 3 man team of Aircraft Engineers from the Training Cell on 33 (Eng) sqn at RAF Brize Norton who maintain the C-130 Hercules.

 

With 2013 being the 10 anniversary of the C130 Hercules being on Ops in Afghanistan we needed to celebrate this fact and what better way than to take part in your challenge. As we’ve all served out on OP’s in both Iraq and Afghanistan Help For Hero’s is a charity we can all relate to and are proud to contribute.

 

Although we haven’t purchased our car yet we have been canvassing ideas from all our work colleagues and the winning design is that of a Starsky and Hutch theme. Our plans for fundraising are to canvass local business to sponsor us in return for advertising space on the car. Other than that we will be making ourselves as visable as possible around RAF Brize Norton to raise funds, and also through the just giving website.
